Due to the liquidation of The Van Liners of Bolton, Johnny Dunne, Founder and Managing Director of Vanax Ltd took the decision to start a new van conversion company in Glasgow. On the 23rd September 2004, Vanax Ltd open their doors in the east end of Glasgow, servicing their existing contacts and developing new links with customers in varied market segments.
10 years later we are still going strong and growing! With the launch of our online webstore enabling customers to order products whether supply only, supply and fit in our workshops in Glasgow or supply and fit through our mobile installation teams throughout Scotland we have been successful in opening up new markets throughout the UK and Europe.
We have benefited from the massive investment in the east end of Glasgow in the run up to the Commonwealth Games. With the development of the new Clyde Gateway road passing by our premises a large section of our undeveloped land was the subject of a Compulsory Purchase Order. What was left was turned into a purpose built secure storage facility, increasing the ability of Vanax to work on bigger fleet contracts.
We plan to continue to add new products lines and services to those existing ones which are popular with our customer base. From Sortimo Racking, beacons and lightbars, lining kits and roof rack accessories we will keep bringing the newest products to the market.
