Pest Control Vehicle Conversion

Vanax were asked to convert a Peugeot Partner L1 H1 van for use by a local authority pest control department. Originally a Peugeot Expert was the chosen vehicle but they wanted to try to fit all the orgiinal equipment into a smaller van to reduce running costs. The van was spec’d from the factory with two sliding side doors.

Firstly the van was plywood lined and then overlaid with GRP to allow for the interior to be regularly jet washed. Finished with a non-slip aggregate compound in the front floor section with a smooth finish to the rear a midway bulkhead was fitted to allow for safe transportation of animal and chemicals.

A two bar roof rack with bespoke pipe carrier were then installed. The rear section was fitted with a Sortimo racking system, hand wash unit and storage hooks. The front cargo section had two hinged mesh doors fitted with a moveable centre partition allowing two distinct areas to sparate different animals. A wipe clean white “Multiwall panel” was included to provide a visual barrier between compartments. If a large animal required to be transported, the central divider folds neatly against the midway bulkhead.
